Ready to meet our Stars of the week?


A big thank you to our ‘Baking Stars’ of this week – Raisa Hasan, Ridhima Yata and Linda Stegane. It has been an interesting one as this week we received 3 different kinds of entries … Lets have a look at what was baking in each one’s kitchen …

Meet our ‘Baking Star’ for today – Raisa Hasan for baking these mouth-watering savouries called Chicken Cases … this looks like a divine tea-time snack and we absolutely love the presentation as well! Thank you so much for sharing this with us  .. Am sure I’m not the only one who wants one now ..

Our next ‘Baking Star’ is Ridhima Yata .. I got a call from Ridhima a few days ago to ask what she should bake for her friends b’day .. when I suggested KitKat Cake her first response was “no way! I can never pull that one off” .. but luckily I convinced her to go for it .. and just have a look at what an awesome job she has done! Moral of the story? Never underestimate yourself .. if I can do it then I guarantee so can you! Am super duper proud of you Ridhima .. feels quite rewarding when one of the Bakealogue recipes is put to the test and succeeds! 😀


Barbie Cake by Linda Stegane: 
And we have another one from Norway .. Meet Linda Stegane, our final ‘Baking Star’ for this week. Linda made this gorgeous-looking Barbie Cake for her friends birthday! That cake must have taken a good few hours Linda, but it’s all so worth it as it’s simply WOW! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. 🙂

      The recipe is as follows:

      White Bread: 1 Big
      Butter: 4oz

      For filling:
      Butter: 2oz
      Flour: 4 tbsp
      Milk: 1 cup
      Water: 1 cup
      Salt: 1tsp
      Crushed Black Pepper: 1/2 tsp
      Crushed Red Pepper: 1/2 tsp
      Mustard Paste: 1/2 tsp
      Sweet Corn: 1/2 cup
      Chicken Boiled: 1 cup

      Cut the edges of the bread and flatten the bread with the help of a rolling pin.
      Make the bread cases by cutting them out in round shapes using a cutter.
      Butter the bread using a brush and press them down in your cupcake tray.
      Bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes or more till they turn light golden.
      Now put the cases on a baking tray. Add the filling and topping of cheddar cheese and bake till the cheese melts.
