Healthy dinner option tonight?

It’s almost din din time in Dubai! So thought it would be appropriate to share a dinner recipe with all of you. It’s a very simple ‘Baked Chicken Skewers’ recipe which tastes wonderful with white rice and chutney of your choice. Just remember not to over-bake the chicken as otherwise you’ll have trouble chewing it! If you’re in a rush and not in the mood to bake then this recipe can be fried as well. Bon Appetit!

 

Baked Chicken Skewers

Ingredients:
Boneless Chicken: 500grams
Yogurt: 1/2 cup
Salt: 1 tsp
Red Pepper: 1 tsp
White Peper: 1/2 tsp
Lemon Juice: 2 tbsp
Desiccated Coconut: 1 tsp
All Spice powder: 1 tsp
Egg: 1
Fresh Cream: 1/2 cup
Oil: 1/4 cup

Method:
Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients for approximately 2 hours or overnight. Put on skewers and bake at 175 degrees Celsius until it the chicken is cooked and forms a nice golden brown colour. Serve with white rice and any chutney/sauce of your choice.
