KitKat Cake by Ridhima Yata:
Our next ‘Baking Star’ is Ridhima Yata .. I got a call from Ridhima a few days ago to ask what she should bake for her friends b’day .. when I suggested KitKat Cake her first response was “no way! I can never pull that one off” .. but luckily I convinced her to go for it .. and just have a look at what an awesome job she has done! Moral of the story? Never underestimate yourself .. if I can do it then I guarantee so can you! Am super duper proud of you Ridhima .. feels quite rewarding when one of the Bakealogue recipes is put to the test and succeeds! 😀

A big thank you to our ‘Baking Stars’ this week for sharing pics of their baking with us – Tayaba Bozai, Maryam Urooj, Hawa Farooq, and Leenah Ahmed! Let’s have a look at what was baking in their kitchen this week …
Chocolate Chip Cake baked by Tayaba Bozai:
Our first ‘Baking Star’ for today is Tayyaba Bozai, for baking this marvellous looking chocolate chip cake! The presentation looks fantastic, and the cake itself looks divine! A feast for the chocolate chip lovers indeed! Thank you so much for sharing this with us! Quite inspiring!
Brandy Snaps by Hawa Farooq:
Now here’s something different baked by Hawa (whom we like to refer to as the ‘Domestic Goddess’) .. Brandy Snaps – minus the brandy! These look incredibly delicious! Hawa tells us they are baked as very thin biscuits and rolled around the handle of a cooking spoon while they’re still hot, as they tend to harden quite quickly. You then fill them up with whipped cream and dip the ends in melted chocolate. They have to be consumed quickly though before the filling makes it soggy! Hmmm, now we’re sure that wont be a problem at all Hawa! … simply WOW!
Birthday Cake by Leenah Ahmed:
Our next ‘Baking Star’ for this week is Leenah Ahmed, for baking this delicious fruit cake for her husband’s birthday! We love the neat handwriting on the cake which adds to the professional touch! The combination of red and white also looks perfect, and would give a lot of inspiration to those still looking for Valentine ideas! Thank you so much for sharing this with us Leenah!
Fruit Cake by Maryam Urooj:
And our final ‘Baking Star’ for today is Maryam Urooj, for baking this very professional-looking birthday cake for her husband! We can tell you have a lot of patience for lining up all those fruit on top so carefully! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Happy Birthday to your husband from ‘The Bake-a-logue’ team ….
